The HMS Queen Elizabeth arrived at the Port of Invergordon to carry out post sea trials commissioning of the main population units.
The Dive System NDS02 and dive team mobilised to Invergordon where the Dive system was set up and made ready to dive.
Operations were carried out on a 24hr basis where Vertech provided the Dive Supervision and a team of Five Divers and Dive Technician. Forth Logistics supplemented the Dive Team with some of their own Divers who already had experience Diving on the vessel during the initial commissioning prior to sea Trials.
The workscope was to further commission the propulsion units post initial sea trials as instructed by BAE Systems who had overseen the design and build of the vessel and site representative.
The vessel then departed Invergordon where she headed back to sea to carry out sea trials on this phase of the commissioning and made way for her home port of Portsmouth.
